The AGT-DC is ideal where there is no AC load and the generator is only required for battery charging, or where they function as part of a Hybrid Power System both charging batteries and supplying power for inverters to run varying AC high demand loads that do not require a generator to constantly run throughout the day.The growing demand for electric propulsion aboard vessels is also an idea application for the AGT-DC generator, where it directly charges the propulsion batteries which in many cases may have higher voltages of 48V and above.Fischer Panda AGT-DC generators use permanent magnet alternator technology to provide a generator that is extremely compact, lightweight and varies its speed with load to reduce diesel burn and emit even less noise.
