Monitoring
Monitoring your electrical system is an essential part of managing your electrical demands. Without this information you can be left with flat batteries, engines that will not start and short battery life.
Enertec offer a comprehensive range of vessel monitoring systems to monitor and manage your DC, AC and on-board tank systems.
While traditionally voltmeters and ammeters were used to help understand the state of your batteries, the only true way to understand where you are in your battery capacity is to use an amp hour monitor, which can accurately advise how much energy has been used and how much energy is left. Enertec offer a rang of Amp hour monitors to provide this and more information on the state of your batteries.
Managing you AC system aboard is also critical to ensure you have correct voltage and frequencies to run your on board AC equipment. Incorrect AC voltage of frequency from an inverter or generator can cause damage to connected loads and costly replacement of equipment. Knowing when AC has been disconnected from your vessel can also cause inconvenience, flat batteries and defrosted food or bait. Enertec offers a Shore Power Alarm to overcome this issue, and alert you if you are disconnected from Shore Power without you knowledge.
To complete you vessels monitoring system we can also offer management of your tanks, with systems to display tank levels aboard your vessel.
